Founded and lovingly operated by Indya Sheehan since 2004, Rainyday Goldens is a small, intentional breeding program originally located in Massachusetts and now nestled in the heart of South Carolina. Our mission is simple: to raise healthy, well-tempered Golden Retrievers who bring joy and connection to every home they join.

At Rainyday Goldens, our dogs are family. They are raised in our home—not kennels—surrounded by love, structure, and plenty of play. We focus on early socialization, sound temperaments, and responsible breeding practices to ensure each puppy gets the best possible start in life.

We specialize in AKC Golden Retrievers, carefully selected for their health, beauty, and gentle nature. All of our breeding dogs are thoroughly health tested for hips, elbows, eyes, and heart, and puppies come with a solid foundation of vet care, socialization, and enrichment.

Our program began with Blossom , the beloved foundation bitch of the Rainyday Goldens line. Blossom’s grace, intelligence, and gentle heart set the standard for everything we strive to preserve in our dogs today. Her legacy lives on in each generation we raise—full of joy, resilience, and that unmistakable Golden spirit.
